About Baton
Last updated 11 October 2026
Baton is an iPhone and iPad app that logs a baby's feeds, sleep and diapers in one tap and keeps one shared log for both parents through their own iCloud, made by Đào Văn Thương, an independent developer in Vietnam. It remembers which breast is next, runs feed and sleep timers on the Lock Screen, also logs pumping, solids, growth and notes, works offline, and includes a free contraction timer for expecting parents. Baton does not give medical advice. There is no account, no ads and no tracking, and no server of the developer's receives the baby's log.

Why Baton exists
In the first weeks with a baby, parents take turns through the night and need to know when the last feed was, which side, and whether the diaper was changed — usually with one free hand and half-closed eyes.
Baton is built to log in one tap, and to let two people share one log without an account or a third-party server: the data travels through the family's own iCloud.
Baton is a record-keeping tool, not a medical one. Questions about a baby's health belong with a doctor, midwife or health visitor.
Privacy in short
- No account. The log lives on the device and in your iCloud; the developer cannot see it.
- The baby's name, birth date, notes and entry details are end-to-end encrypted in iCloud.
- No ads, no ad SDKs, no advertising ID, no tracking across apps.
- Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Firebase) are always on and never contain anything about the baby.
- RevenueCat handles Baton Plus purchases with an anonymous ID and receives nothing about the child.
